AHA member Gisèle Lapalme is pleased to invite you to see paintings by her students, on display at the St.-Lazare library. The vernissage is Friday, April 5 at 7 p.m., and the show runs from April 2 – 26.
As well, Gisèle will be starting a new session of adult painting classes at Hunt Studio, April 8 – June 6. The series of eight classes costs $250.
Oil Painting: Mondays (12:30-3:30 p.m.)
Water Color: Tuesdays (12:30 -3:30 p.m.)
“Painting courses with Gisèle Lapalme integrate demonstrations, direct observation, and hands-on exploration with new painting techniques. Participants are encouraged to discover their preferences and develop their own style. Experience in drawing is helpful, but not necessary. Many of the classes are focused on techniques, skills and ideas that students can utilize outside of the classroom; such as color-mixing, incorporating a variety of surfaces, textures and subject matter to encourage you in your painting.”
If you wish to take a class but the times or days announced are not convenient, please communicate your interest in case adjustments can be made. For more information, contact Christine Hunt at “Studio D’Art Hunt Art Studio”, 3 ch. Murphy, Vaudreuil, Quebec, 450-458-5049.
